“Our family could not grasp the picturesque little cottage that we were going to stay in for three nights! They were over the moon!Hosts were so helpful and responsive!A few things to know:The road leading to the cottage is soooo narrow and windy. Be prepared to drive this 2 mile route over and over again. Also I just feel like for the amount each night costs at this cottage that a least a few more amenities should be included. “Lovely historic property- complete with all the quirks such as uneven floors, log burner, and a lovely wooden staircase. Great location to get into town too, and really quiet and peaceful at night. I had a lovely break here with my partner, felt like a proper escape.”

“Lovely little cottage on the outskirts of Ambleside. Nicely decorated, with comfy bed and fully kitted kitchen. Owners have provided board games and leaflets/info of area. Please note it is an old property with very steep stairs and tight doorways upstairs. Tricky for those with mobility issues or small children.”
