“We really enjoyed the stream and how quiet it was. There are other homes nearby, but I think they are the other cabins with the same owner. The location is great. You can be at a grocery store in 8 minutes. All of the towns are 20-40 mins in varying directions. There is a great spot to watch the sunset nearby called Jump Off Rock. Blue Ridge Parkway is only a 40 minute drive”

“This place is a gem in the forest. Quiet, cozy and spotless clean. Very relaxing and situated innthe beautiful nature. The only thing I never had before, to receive the cheaper cleaning fee - you have to put clean sheets on your used beds. Just ask what incl the small cleaning list…”

“Mountain Shadows is a cozy cottage nestled in the forest amongst a few other cabins but with enough privacy to let you lay back and relax. The house was well-equipped, clean and the hot tub was a welcome diversion after a long day out. This is a place I would definitely recommend to anyone.”

“How this property ever got numerous 10 stars is beyond my comprehension; very obviously fake reviews. The shower floor was nasty. There was what appeared to be black mold under kitchen sink. Floors were uneven and sinking in spots. Roof covered with tarp. Walls were particle board and mismatched pieces of scrap wood. Overall, we had to question the integrity of the home. Owner did not sent check- in info on day of until we called an hour after check-in time. Left shortly after seeing the place.……
