The property could do with an update especially the technology and the wifi quality was poor. The host was very friendly and helpful. The room could be cleaner though, there were lipstick marks on the glasses and the carpet was so filthy with animal hair looks like it hasn’t been vacuumed in a long time. The pool hadn’t been cleaned for a long time either and I worried about bacteria levels if other things were neglected. Well kitted with pots and saucepans, large fridge, had washing mashing and dryer, everything we needed. Secure and clean. Lots of room for the kids to run around. The hosts were able to accommodate my late arrival into Perth (which I had notified them of in advance), for which I was extremely grateful. They were fantastic! The suite had great facilities. Very comfortable bed, neat bathroom, good kitchen facilities. Clean and tidy throughout. Ample space to park the car. Their information folder had heaps of handy hints about the place and surrounds. It was a lovely property. It was a shame that I didn't have the time to explore, but guests are invited to have a look around. I underestimated the time that it took to travel between the lodge and Perth CBD, but it was easy to travel between the two. Shopping facilities were only a short drive away. I feel that you would need a vehicle to comfortably get around Perth from this accommodation. The premises are based around horse agistment premises and stables. The rooms are small but very comfortable and clean but do lack a refrigerator and an ensuite bathroom which must be shared with an adjacent room. This did not worry me particularly but probably should be a bit clearer on the website. The hosts are very friendly and informative while the cooked breakfast was terrific.
