City bus routes and a light rail system make this location very desirable. The property is close to Sun Devil Stadium, Grady Gammage Auditorium, Tempe Center for the Arts and Tempe Town Lake, which is the home of the annual Ironman Triathlon and numerous other events. The AZ Cardinals stadium is a 30-minute drive away so this property is a perfect location for AZ Cardinals games and the annual Fiesta Bowl. If interested, the owner often has extra AZ Cardinals tickets. The nightlife of this college town makes this home ideally located for those who want to vacation in a quiet neighborhood close to where the action is. Since the property is very centrally located in the metro Phoenix area, you can hang out in Tempe or go anywhere in the metro Phoenix area very quickly and inexpensively. Executive as well as designer golf courses are nearby. A short drive will take you to numerous spring training facilities. The Phoenix Zoo is less than five miles away. The living room, bedrooms and the backyard are equipped with cable television. You will find a walk-in shower with a seat and two shower heads in the main bathroom. The second bathroom has a modern shower stall. The interior of the house is fully tiled and newly furnished with contemporary furniture. A swimming pool -- heated during the cooler months -- accentuates the covered patio and gas grill in the backyard. When heated, the pool heater is set at 88 degrees but, if the outside temperature gets too cool, the pool temp may not reach 88\. That doesn't happen often but it does happen occasionally. There are wet suit tops in the laundry area for your use. Those will help. If you are bringing dogs to the property, please try to keep them out of the pool as dog hair can seriously clog the filtering system. Exercise equipment can also be found in the laundry room, which is located next to the pool. The property is also conveniently located only 4 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. This property can accommodate 6 guests but, if you need to find lodging for more, we own 2 other vacation rentals on the block. You can see them at VRBO.com/933406, which has a pool, and VRBO.com/214978, which does not have a pool. You will not be charged a cleaning fee at any of our 3 properties. The property can accommodate a family gathering but cannot accommodate a large event. If you are planning to host an event of any size, please clear it with the owner at time of booking. I have never stayed in a VRBO that had so many towels, pool floats, bikes etc. that you could use. They have thought of everything. Owners were also so organized and easy to get a hold of. Excellent location, within walking distance to ASU and a ton of restaurants. The home is very clean and has all the amenities! The hosts are responsive, kind and helpful. This place was just as described and owners very responsive and way over top to welcome us. Little gift on counter as we arrived. Even heated the pool for us before we got there. Bedrooms were nice, everything clean. No fan in the master bathroom but not only issue there is a small window. The mattresses same firm but it's the memory foam and were so great. We did not use the third bedroom which is a Murphy bag but it was clean looked good. Pool has deep end which is nice. Outdoor area is really cool with the little bar table and two TVs, and they have cable hooked up to each one. I personally travel for work a lot and bring my own Roku so I have my own settings and I was able to use that on one of the TVs that didn't get the channels we wanted. But for the Christmas break and all the bowl games and basketball and movies it was great to sit outside. Also so nice that just to 0.6 mi walk to Mill avenue and restaurants and everything else. We love this house and the hosts! We've stayed here several times over the last 4 yer while our daughter attended ASU. It's super close to campus and has everything you would ever need from spices to bikes to coolers. Very clean home, good location about 10 minutes from airport. Heated clean pool was our main attraction for 10 yo granddaughter. Plenty of pool toys/lounges/beach towels. Patio and pool well maintained, lots of seating. The host is easily accessible and responsive. The home has everything we needed and more, pool is amazing and was our sons favorite part Our trip to the Grand Canyon was smooth because the home was equipped with handy items.
