“The breakfast was fantastic! Especially loved the apple cinnamon waffles! The stay all great except the really strong musty smell. I know it has been remodeled and looks great, but that smell is pretty strong in the halls and rooms. We've stayed here several times. And while it might havr had a smell of an older hotel, it was never really unpleasant. This time it was. We come through from time to time, and will likely stay again, but hopefully they can figure out the source of the musty odor!”

“Everything was wonderful. It was peaceful and quiet. We loved the resident cat. Just a beautiful cabin and beautiful place! We will stay down here anytime we come to visit in the area.”

“This place is great! Exactly how it’s described and designed for a quick stay! Perfect for Hatfield n McCoy trail riders! We stayed after our overnight investigation at The old Williamson Hospital! Loved it! ”

“Everything about the place was excellent! I have not one negative thing to say.”

“The place is a lot smaller than expected. Parking was a little tricky. But it worked for one night. Wifi wasn't great and we didn't have any towels. Wish it had some type of fold out chair or little desk to do some work on. Other than that, it was a cute, peaceful place. Beds were comfortable, space was clean. Would stay again, but would be prepared better.”

“I stayed at this place for a 2nd time on a hunting trip. Nice little place to lay your head.”

“Host was responsive to problems we encountered upon arrival, but they should have been addressed prior to arrival through housekeeping management. The kitchen was not well stocked with dinnerware, so come prepared if you have a full house. You’re at a train crossing, so be prepared for train horns and crossings 24/7.The cabin had comfortable beds and lounge furniture and the air conditioning was good. Would stay again if our favorite spot is unavailable.”

“I was one of the best places I have ever stayed at. I loved it. The Josh is a great host and was there anytime to help when I needed him. ”

“Wish the oven would have worked. Need a rug inside by the front door. Wish tvs would have worked properly, our neighbors were controlling our tv. Was very convenient to the trail system and very good parking!”

“Great value for the accommodations. Great location. Some difficulty in getting checking information from host. Otherwise a good experience overall and would stay there again.”

“Great spot”
