"Great resort but it was huge! For our group, we often needed the golf cart to bring us to meals. Service was great and everyone was friendly. Shopping was available to items to bring home as well as items needed at the resort. We only had one bad experience with the restaurants and it was the food at Cauri, the tapas restaurant in the main lobby area. The waiter was great but the kitchen must have been struggling that night. We had a party of 8 and food was either undercooked or so overcooked you couldn't eat it. This was after waiting an hour at the table to get the first tapas. All of the other restaurants were amazing!"

"If you are looking for a boutique hotel right on the beach, look no farther. You feel like you are in the jungle yet you have the pacific right in front of you. We saw monkeys, iguanas and lots of tropical birds. All the workers go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The service at the restaurant and on the beach was so good. We loved everyone. We were only there 4 days yet they got to know us and our names and treated us like family. The food, drinks (NA and With alcohol), was excellent. We were traveling with our two sons 16 and 19. They loved the bar, pool, and pool table. We also got great massages at the spa. The beach is small and quaint. It felt like a private bay. The water was warm and the bay was very protective. If we had young kids we would have felt very comfortable with them in the water. Not many waves. Highly recommend this exquisite hotel. Thank you for a great stay"

"Planet Hollywood was absolutely beautiful. When you walk in everyone claps and you are greeted with a dragronfruit refresher. Check in was smooth. The room is a suite extremely comfortable and spacious. I have to say one thing that stood out is how clean this hotel is. The staff very friendly. The food is not the best …Tye sushi and hibachi was very good . Buffet for breakfast is very good …dinner was not that great. By the pool area they have a burger place if you want hamburgers and nachos. The pool has daily activities however the foam party is the best!!!…The swim up bar can get crowded…lots of Bees in that area.I wish they had something to control the amount of Bees in the swim up bar. This hotel is on a mountain. It makes it hard to walk around because the roads are very steep. They have carts to transport travelers to the lobby and pool area . They come around every 15 min sometimes if they are very busy it can take 30 min. Nexus tours that help with excursions were excellent!!… i use them to book tours and for airport transportation. At the beach you have beach chairs and you have a volcanic beach. Black sand and beautiful water. You will see monkeys bring fruit. You can feed them. We would definitely return to this hotel."

"What a great property to stay for our beach vacation. It had everything we needed plus many extras like beach chairs and toys for our kids. The kitchen was well equipped for every meal we made. The balcony over looking the beach had fantastic unobstructed views. We ate a few meal out there and enjoyed our morning coffee there. The pool and hot tub were also fantastic. Since we have small kids we spent about an hour at the beach and an hour at the pool. It workout out amazing. The beach was beautiful with calm clear waters that our kids loved. We highly recommend staying here and we are hoping to be back in the future."

"From the start everything went smooth. The property manager set things up. The concierge took over after we got there. Concierge answered all questions and made the trip easy. The house was better than expected. The views and the space for guest was perfect. The pool wasn’t as clean but there was a net to do yourself and didn’t matter that much. Jacuzzi came on at 4 like clock work. Every kitchen appliance, tool and utensil you’d need. Games and puzzles galore. The location is a bit awkward to do anything without a vehicle, but wasn’t an issue for us. We made it to all the beaches and had 2 adventures in 6 days. All the locals were friendly. I give this place a 10 of 10 for our first international family trip."
