When we arrived there was a hiccup at airport / rental car. I was very concerned but called Thisbee. She calmed me, explained options, and was a trusted colleague. The owners went well above their “jobs” to assure our stay was perfect, and it was.

We love this hotel. It is a short walk to the beach, offers great facilities and had a great restaurant, all at a very reasonable nightly rate. During our stay the hotel had live music several nights. No worries about what to do, the hotel can arrange excellent tours to meet every desire. We loved the staff. They were very friendly, always helpful, knowledgeable, and treated us like family. Villa del Sueno will be our go to stay for a mid winter break in the future.

This property is beautiful especially for the price. Staff was very accommodating and quick to help. The large ceiling to floor windows provide an absolutely amazing view. Beds are comfortable. Food was good! Beautiful hotel grounds and easy beach access with lounge chairs. Staff is happy to help.

This is a great hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We used the pool several times. The room was very comfortable and the air conditioning was a nice perk. You are a 20 minute walk to the main city center. I would highly recommend listening to the advice of the hotel staff and walk along the beach. The walk along the road would not be recommended, especially at night. This property is a good value for your money. I would stay here again.

Great option in Coco. Close to beach, main strip, and some of the better accommodations in the area. Highly recommend this place.

El Mangroove is a modern, beautiful property located on a very calm bay with great sunset views. The area is very peaceful - a perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff could not be nicer or more attentive. They went out of their way to entertain our kids, make sure we were comfortable and taken care of, etc. Food was delicious. I wish we could have stayed longer. It's only about 20 minutes to Liberia airport.

The hotel is beautiful place full of trees, plants and birds. It is situated right in front of the beach which provides a wonderful and calming experience in Costa Rica. I will start off by saying we have been to a lot of All Inclusive resorts from smaller to the larger multi complex resorts. We've always booked great review "5 star resorts" This one hit on every single item we look for in an all inclusive vacation. Nice gated place. Two apartments below, two above. We didn’t hear our neighbors, which was nice. Really close to the beach but you need to follow forest paths to get there faster. Lots of monkeys and iguanas around. Playa Hermosa is a much quieter beach town than many others, and we like it that way. The bigger hotel Villa de Sueno on the corner has good (though overpriced) food and music several nights a week.

It is a nice small Hotel that can serve as an operation base, between Liberia (Main City, 30 min drive) and the beach coast (Hermosa Beach, 4 min walking) Hermosa Beach is not the prettiest, but is nice, clean, with blue waters. From there you can visit, Coco, Danta, Las Catalinas (30 min drive) or Flamingo, Conchal, Playa Grande, Tamarindo (60 min drive). This place was great! Comfortable beds and linens! Great ac! HOT water. There was also a water outage in the whole city but luckily the palms had extra tanks on property and were able to switch to those so we had hot water when the rest of the town didn't! The property and the room are perfectly kept. The bed and pillows are comfortable and the AC gets nice and cold. We enjoyed the pool in the evenings after spending some time sunning on Ocatal Beach.

Great location near restaurants and beach. Good support when I needed help with a car , problem with water from above unit...people showed up to assost. Also security on premise does a great job of making sure things stay safe in the gated complex.
