“Cute and cozy cottage in a great location, home had everything we needed. Very easy walk to restaurants and entire downtown boothbay harbor. Dog friendly home, and very dog friendly town! We enjoyed local trails and drinks on the water. No complaints!”

“Wooded setting is very nice and quiet in a well maintained house. Convenient to Boothbay Harbor, East Boothbay, and Maine Botanical Gardens. A list of nearby hiking trails would be useful. Lots of nearby restaurants. We liked Shannon's Unshelled, Thistle Inn, and Carriage House. Linekin/Burley hike was rugged but very good on Ocean Point Rd.”

“The decor in the cottage is adorable, and it's very well organized for a group or family. Plenty of room, great entertainment options, many places to retreat with a book. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals.The location is a short drive to all the local highlights: we did the Farnsworth Museum, Cushing, Tenant's Harbor, lobster rolls in Port Clyde. And we had a snug little movie night the evening we stayed in. Good AC and heating--we had to use both as the temperature ranged from……

We lucked out with warmer weather than we expected for early May and enjoyed having this house as our home base as we explored Camden, Rockport/Rockland, Freeport, Damariscotta, The Botanic Garden in Boothbay, and even Portland for a special occasion dinner. The amenities on the property were much better than we've experienced elsewhere. Kitchen/ eating area and the solarium were large and well stocked.As per most of the reviews you cant leave out "Jersey", who checks you in and runs the place basically. “Huddle House was a perfect fit for my family when visiting the area for a family reunion. It was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. We loved that it was an older home with a lot of character.”

“Nice house in a great location. It was wonderful to have a first floor bed and bath since we were traveling with my elderly parents. The location made it easy to walk or drive to Boothbay Harbor. The only minor issues we found were spotty wi-fi and the latch on the front screen door did not work properly. Would definitely stay here again!”
