When we got out of the car for the first time, we were amazed at the view and the landscaping around this property. The pictures on the listing just did not do it justice. When we first entered the house, I knew this was going to be an exceptional vacation. And we immediately felt at home.
The owner has gone to great lengths to make the home very comfortable, well appointed, and provide everything and anything one could possibly want while on vacation.
I have rented several homes in the past from Vrbo but this one is truly exceptional.

Peaceful Summer Cottage

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. My kids loved bouldering and beach combing, and even mucking through low tide to the sand bar "island" right off shore. I enjoyed kayaking, and my husband adored McLoon's lobster shack, just up the road. The best part of all was the location of the property. We spent hours in the yard or living room watching the changing tides and gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. It was very hard to leave!
The house is very well stocked and organized. The kitchen had every tool we needed. The bedrooms were confortable and we loved the outdoor shower too. Be aware that the third bedroom is over the garage. The garage is attached to the house, so it's basically a separate wing of the house (only bathroom is in the main house). If I had young kids, I would probably not want them to stay in the third, bunk room, just because it's separate from everyone else. But my teens and youngest (8) stayed there and were happy to have their own space to spread out.
Communication with the hosts was excellent. We really couldn't have asked for a better stay. Hopefully we can return sometime soon!
