Esta hermosa casa moderna de mediados de siglo le dará una perspectiva única de la vida virgen de Florida. Este tesoro escondido de 3 dormitorios, 3 baños y 1726 pies cuadrados está ubicado debajo de las copas de los árboles y se encuentra directamente en el borde de las serpenteantes aguas cristalinas del río Weeki Wachee. La casa recientemente ha sido bellamente remodelada y decorada. La sala y el comedor fluyen a través de puertas dobles francesas hacia la habitación cerrada y terminada de Florida. Las vistas panorámicas a través de las ventanas del piso al techo le ruegan que salga para disfrutar de las impresionantes vistas de primera mano del río sinuoso. La gran terraza de madera se asienta sobre la orilla del río, lo que le permite sentarse tranquilo y disfrutar de la naturaleza maravilla. Las escaleras robustas justo al lado de la cubierta te permiten acceder directamente a las frescas aguas azules para que puedas disfrutar de kayak, remo, natación y más desde tu patio trasero. Hay 4 kayaks para una sola persona para que disfrutes. Cada habitación es de buen tamaño y la casa tiene capacidad para 10 personas cómodamente. La cocina comedor con refrigerador de época tiene mucho espacio y está totalmente equipada para que cualquier cocinero prepare su pescado fresco del día. Los azules fríos en las paredes complementados por los cálidos tonos tierra imitan el entorno natural y te hacen sentir serenidad y completa relajación, ya sea que estés dentro o fuera. Si bien puede sentirse en la naturaleza y aislado del mundo, está a solo minutos de la SR 50, a 15 minutos de Suncoast Parkway y a menos de una hora en automóvil del Aeropuerto Internacional de Tampa. El parque estatal Weeki Wachee Springs, donde se encuentran las famosas sirenas Weeki Wachee y la bahía Buccaneer, está a 5 minutos. Rogers Park & Boat Ramp está a menos de 10 minutos. With only a few neighbors, directly on the river and surrounded by nature preserve and state park, we saw deer and wild turkeys daily. One day there was an otter along the far bank. It was end of season for manatees, but one went by several days headed out to the bay. Always visited by squirrels and occasional ibis when relaxing on the deck. Terrific kayaking. If you’re looking for a scenic getaway, this location truly delivers. It came with four kayaks, which was a great bonus, and I also rented a Go Boat from MyRamBoat.com just down the river – the lady there was amazing, and I highly recommend checking her out for a fun water experience.However, while the location is nearly perfect, the house itself fell short in many ways, mainly due to the lack of basic amenities and maintenance issues.The Good: Amazing Riverfront Location – Peaceful, scenic, and ideal for kayaking and relaxing. Plenty of Floats & Safety Gear – Nice to have extras like pool noodles and life vests. Kayaks Included – A great perk for exploring the river.The Not-So-Good: Lack of Basic Amenities – No dish soap, no sponges, no laundry detergent, and very minimal kitchen essentials. If you plan to cook, bring your own cookware, as the non-stick pots and pans are so scratched they are unusable (microplastic concerns). Only a few usable dishes for baking. Structural Issues & Safety Hazards – The uneven floors made it difficult to walk around comfortably, especially for someone with back problems. It was actually nauseating at times and would be a nightmare for anyone in a wheelchair. ##### Jason C. We grilled, relaxed in the water with our morning coffee, and caught a mermaid show at the nearby Weeki Watchee State Park. The home is perfect for a couple or a family and Amy is a great host. We loved the old Florida quiet feel of the area and home. We will be back for more paradise by the spring for sure! ##### Elizabeth H. I've stayed at the other houses here, and they all got 5 stars. Sorry but can't give 5 stars. I'm just glad my family and the kids didn't come, only a couple of friends joined. Or it would've been a stressor and a let down. VRBO doesn't tell you in big bold print what is not provided. I DID read that we have to bring our own "paper products" such as toilet paper. So I did bring some but we didn't need extra. There was no laundry detergent... for a 5 day minimum stay at a river where clothes get dirty n wet. Come on. We had to get dishwasher detergent + sponge, Because only two dishwasher pods were provided... one was hidden under some towels. I re-washed their plastic plates with one of these pods in the dishwasher on the last day. We even had to get our own body wash / bath soap. Most places provide body wash, shampoo, conditioner. Just get some cheap ones. Just give people a vacation rather than have the woman pack n worry. Basically - Nothing is provided. For only $20 there could be: (1) laundry detergent, (2) bath soaps, (3) dishwasher detergent + sponge. It is not easy to get in and out because of the broken road. The deer and turkeys were cute. The mosquitoes were poisonous, and probably carry deer tick = Lyme disease. ##### Zunaira i.
