Since the 1940s, Weeki Wachee Springs has featured mermaids performing for audiences in the underwater theater. A wonderful break in the beach action, a float on the Weeki Wachee River. Crystal clear, spring water fills this river. There are rope swings along the way for some added fun and you might even see a manatee along the way.
The Harold's Auto dinosaur was originally a Sinclair gas station in 1964, inspired by the Sinclair Oil mascot prominently featured in ads and on signs since 1930. The "Apatosaurus," stands 47 feet tall and is 110 feet long.

its Was okay- I would try and get a 3rd floor room to avoid noise from above as the lament floors are so loud. Bring your own towel and avoid using the sand paper they give you.

On a short vacation to visit family my boyfriend and I drove through the dying light, sunburnt and tired, until we found a place to eat. Climbing out of the car we saw this view from the parking lot of Ukulele Brand's restaurant. We were able to sit outside on a dock that had fans blowing and keeping us cool despite the humid air. It seems, at least at this location (maybe state wide?) that you can smoke outside but with the fans it didn't bother me (I am allergic to cigarette smoke). There was a live (great!) band and while the service was a little slow, the food was great. If you are looking to relax and not rush through a meal, this is definitely the place to go. We sipped on drinks, dined on delicious food, and enjoyed the sunset while live music played -- the perfect end to a beach day.
