We go to weeki wachee every spring break and this was our favorite so far!! Plenty of space, very clean, very well kept. Love the porch upstairs and down stairs. Great neighborhood. We used the kayaks they have there and were great. We brought our own paddle boards and were able to get right into the river. We saw manatees along the way!!!! Great house and great location with the kayaks and paddle boards you need. The house was exactly as shown, and the only thing I want to add is that there is a 1/2 bath downstairs so you don’t have to go upstairs to use the potty. Makes it convenient when you are fishing. Location was perfect with only a short drive to the local restaurants and parks. Environment was peaceful. My kids and I were able to paddleboard to the beautiful clear water within 5 minutes from house. Manatees literally swimming up to the house. Beds are comfortable and sectional couch is great for family movie time. We kayaked everyday and saw lots of manatees and water birds. It was our kids first time kayaking and this was the place to do it! Water was calm, clear and easy to navigate with young beginners. Host is very responsive and welcoming. To start with, the host was excellent and stayed in touch with us on a regular basis. Not too much but just often enough that we knew we could count on him if we had any issues. Second, the location is fantastic. The property is riverfront and we got to watch mantees everyday from the deck. It is also within a 10 minute drive of Winn-Dixie and within walking distance or a short kayak trip to a great waterfront restaurant. With Winn-Dixie nearby and a well equipped kitchen the property is perfect for cooking in with family and friends. And there are plenty of great restaurants nearby in Hernando Beach. Loved sitting on the expansive deck and watching all the boaters. We were surprised at how quiet and peaceful it was. This house was extremely clean and well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked with tools and has clean, newer appliances. Very tastefully decorated. There are plenty of kayaks to use. This house is exactly as advertised. We will be staying here in the future for sure. Do not hesitate to book this property, it’s a perfect river getaway! The neighbors we encountered were very nice also. Keith was so helpful.
