PRIVATE BOAT LAUNCH for small crafts... .... 4 KAYAKS.. for the guests to use..Come relax in our charming, CLEAR canal-front home just a 5 minute paddle to the weeki wachee river!!!!!!!!!The home is just off the crystal clear Weeki Wachee River, with easy access to Rogers Park and the Gulf of Mexico - by boat, kayak or float tube! Just steps from a freshwater canal with your own private dock and boat ramp for fishing and swimming - bring your boat ( smaller craft are suitable )and launch it onsite or rent one from the nearby marina. This canal is nearly clear water not murky like other canals!!!!

The house is recently remodeled and bright with a fully-equipped kitchen, dining room, and a spacious living room with sliding glass doors opening onto the sundeck, where you will enjoy relaxing and dining outside - while watching for the manatee, otters, and abundant birdlife that visit frequently. ... There is a grill for the guest to use or enjoy sitting by the firepit......Please inquire about ya pets...The local restaurants are within 10 minutes.....

There is easy access about 10 minutes to Bayport, Hernando Beach, Pine Island Beach, and 20 minutes to Aripeka with its artist community.

Perfectly Memorable

My family came in from Minnesota and stayed here. It was so peaceful and perfect for the entire stay. We had manatees and dolphins playing at the dock daily. Kayaking adventures in the beauty of the Weeki Wachee River were amazing! The house was simply perfect, already talking about booking another stay.

What a excellent property for friends and family to meet up for a long weekend. Everything was clean they had towels stocked and tons of blowup toys.

Nice stay on canal

The property is well furnished for those who enjoy cooking at home. The master is big with plenty of room and the second bedroom has two beds. We enjoyed having our morning coffee on the deck and saw manatee come up to the dock. The place was clean. The furniture in the living room was a little uncomfortable. So we watched TV in the bedroom. WiFi reception came in and out. Nice stay overall.

Great house, location and Property Manager

If you enjoy the outdoors and nature, it doesn't get any better than this. Dolphins and manatees swam by. Crystal clear springs just a 10 minute kayak paddle from the dock. Outdoor firepit and grill. Just a wonderful place and can't wait to come back.

We LOVE WeekiWachee

This is a great location within the WeekiWachee Gardens. This cottage is on a peaceful canal, a quick paddle to the main river. We were in our kayaks daily: upstream to the state park and downstream to hospital hole, where you are guaranteed to see manatee. We really enjoyed our stay here. Mandy & Johnathan were quick to respond to our queries. This is REAL Florida! No need to go to Disney World. Let me see manatee any day over MickeyMouse:)

Kayak adventure

We had an amazing time. A couple of the kayaks took on water. That was the only issue we had. The house was perfect. We loved the view. We watched manatees at the dock the first morning. Thank you

Spring break getaway

We had such a fun time! The house was perfect for our party of 7. The kayaks were the bonus of the property. We enjoyed the fire pit, fishing off the dock, paddling up to the springs, jumping off the dock and swimming, and the company. This was a perfect long weekend for spring break. We are already talking about going back. Don’t forget the bug spray! Sadly, we did not see a manatee this trip but that makes us want to come back more. Easy check in process and everything we needed to cook was there. We would 100% recommend this stay for anyone looking for some outdoor fun!

Wonderful canal house in Weeki Wachi

The house was good. Unfortunately we didn't have very good weather. There are a few details that could be improved. The deadbolt lock was difficult to use. The slider lock was a challenge to lock and unlock. The house had a bad odor that we decided was the garbage disposal. However, the beds were comfortable, it was quiet and clean. We enjoyed our stay

Lots of big steps to climb

Cleanliness was good, however this is the second time we have been there and side door still sticks, toilets are low and rock. Door handle on slider looks to be 100 years old and crudy looking. Sewer piping under home still has temporary patchs on them making you wonder. Another dangerous item is hot water tank over preasure pipe dumps out right over where you walk under, the wrong place the wrong time could be real bad!. They did put down new carpet on kayak ramp.
