There are several natural river pools to swim in with in a 30 minute drive of the accomodation. Which we were directed to by the owners. Our room was modern and fresh with a lovely balcony. “Passamos 4 dias na Casa da Corte, na Quinta Lamosa, e gostamos muito! A casa é muito espaçosa, tem uma cozinha bem completa, lareira, varanda com vista para a mata e um deck que deve ser muito aproveitado no verão (Estivemos lá no inverno). Tb tem piscina, bicicletas e aceita animais! O João, proprietário, nos recebeu muito bem e deu muitas dicas úteis. Ficamos com vontade de voltar outras vezes.”

“This was one of our favorite places we stayed in Portugal. The lady who runs this is absolutely wonderful (as well as her pet goat and dogs). She even makes a lovely homemade breakfast, by request, for only 6€ a person. In the morning, we could smell her homemade bread baking. The suite we stayed in had a full kitchen, a super comfortable bed, nice bathroom and a beautiful balcony with a view of the hills. The property is very quiet and located in such a peaceful area. Mas o aquecimento da piscina não era adequado, a sauna seca também não estava aquecida a contento, a sauna a vapor estava desligada. Não havia pendurador de toalhas, a tampa da lixeira do banheiro quebrada. No bar e restaurante não havia uma única opção de vinho tinto, só brancos, o que é bastante complicado nessa época de frio intenso, quando os tintos caem muito bem. Creio que seja um período de……
