The sauna was an added feature that was very relaxing at the end of the day. “This was our 2nd stay in this fantastic house! This time there was a snow storm. During that time the drive was cleared twice, sidewalks cleaned and the owner asked if we needed anything at all. “The house was very clean and comfortable. I loved the sliders to the deck. We had a wonderful view of the lake and we could see all the birds easily from the kitchen. The only suggestion I have is that either a sliding screen door is added or a screen that fits in the door frame. That way, you can keep the door open without letting bugs in. “I had a lovely week in downtown Dubuque. Check-in was easy. My 1st floor studio was comfortable, clean and safe. And while the combined bed/sitting area makes it a studio, it also has a large kitchen and nice bathroom. The bathroom has lots of open storage to keep your items within view and easily accessible, and the shower pressure was more than adequate for an older building.
