Away from main part of motel property. Very small room, no coffee maker in room. Not clean. Bed not comfortable. Would not recommend staying there. Room was not what was shown online.

I chose Countryside Motel after reading several of the reviews, which I found to be very accurate. I found the family/staff to be very helpful and friendly, my room was very clean, and offered all that I needed for my stay. A wonderful restaurant was directly across the street, and the owners were also very friendly and helpful.

The tap knob in the shower was broken, my kids got burnt while I was trying to adjust the water. The restaurant right across the street is a plus.

A quick overnight, only stayed for less than 10 hours.. properly is nice but a bit tired.. found the whirlpool in the room a bit strange but all I needed was a sleep and the bed was comfortable enough.. fur the price paid was worth the overnight

It's pretty much as good as you can expect for that price. It's old, close to the road and not at all soundproof to the cars passing, and the paint job is lacking. But the staff was nice, beds and shower were clean (don't look too long at the old space heater tho), and AC was working fine. Wouldn't recommend to anyone who's trying to have a great hotel experience, or a long stay, but it did well enough for a night's rest during our road trip.

There are several things that need updating, and a few need repair. The faucet in the bathroom sink was quite loose, not sitting tight against the sink itself, and I could find no way to tighten it. There was no leakage, but it was a bit disconcerting. The towel bar came apart; I was able to put it back together. The owner came out to offer to switch my room based on my earlier comments about there not being a table/desk or chair so I could set up my computer. I declined the switch because I had already settled into the room and had managed to set my computer up on one of the nightstands. Yes, a chair would have been great, but I made do with what I had. Overall, the room was clean, which was the most important thing to me. I would stay there again.

We received an “upgrade” so the room was spacious however it is very old. There were several stray hairs in the bathroom and it seemed as if someone with children lived above the room we were in. The staff were wonderful. Very friendly and kind. This is absolutely a motel with little to no amenities or modernization, but it’s priced accordingly so be aware, you are getting what you pay for.

My husband Randy stayed at the hotel for pleasure. The hotel was clean, staff were friendly. It was quiet during the evening hours and it was convenient to restaurants and shops. The price was very good compared to all the other hotels.

I had a really great experience! The person at the desk was incredibly friendly, and there were no issues at all during our stay. The location is great compared to where everything else was in the town, which was a huge plus. Would definitely recommend!

Great Bargain

The location, room and area are excellent. The only negative is that the rooms abut Rt.9 and it can be noisy with large trucks passing by during certain hours.

Exactly what one would expect of a cheap motel. Clean room, easy and efficient check in/out. Towels and soap in bathroom. Nothing special, but nothing negative considering the price range

My husband Randy stayed at the hotel. The hotel was clean and convenient. The staff was very friendly. It was easily accessible from highway. The outside needed a little touchup but the rooms were very clean. Stayed for two nights and the price was very reasonable. Randy would go back again, he went there twice.

Needed an affordable quite place to stay for a week for myself while my son participated in a summer program at West Point. The room was large, but the building and furniture were old and in need of some repairs. The staff was friendly. Overall, it met my needs.

Route 9 diamond in the rough

This is a conveniently located, clean, comfortable, safe, low-cost, no-frills motel, the kind where you bring your own toiletries and hair-dryer and might have to ask for extra towels. (Think Schitt’s Creek, not fancy nor pretending to be). Beds are great and showers are hot. Everyone at the desk is completely friendly and helpful. I have stayed here multiple times and can totally recommend this property.
