I have stated at this property several times before without incident. On our recent trip we didn’t arrive to the the hotel until close to 5 find the AC has not been turned on all day and the room never cooled down. We asked to switch room and that one wasn’t any better. Spend the entire night huddled around a barely working AC unit and got barely any sleep. Will be looking for a different place to stay when I come to this area from now on.

The Red Roof is a fine and stable motel chain delivering a clean room at a reasonable price. My recent stay was both clean and reasonable again until I tried to change the temperature of the heater/air conditioner. The ancient control buttons didn't respond and it changed from COOL to HEAT. Fortunately it happened near check out. No doubt a certified AC technician will soon fix the problem!

Clean and comfortable. I have been barefooted in the room and am happy to report that the floor is clean. Bedding, bathtowels, bathroom in general, refrigerator all clean. Local photography in room. Breakfast snack bags a nice surprise. Coffee drinkable black. My dog recovering from knee surgery appreciate the rubber coated staircase on a rainy morning. Very good price for a last minute booking on a holiday weekend. Would stay again.

The entire property is clean, conveniently located and well-managed. The bed wasn't "bad", but if it were more comfortable and if they had a breakfast bar (not the muffin and granola bars in a bag), I'd have upped to an "excellent" overall rating.

This is the second time we've stayed at this property while visiting relatives in the Newburgh area, and both times we've had a pleasant stay. The accommodations are basic but more than adequate. Breakfast is not included which is fine with us because we're tired of the typical fare (eggs, sausage, waffles...) offered by other hotels anyway, It's also pet-friendly, without charging any exorbitant fee. Management might want to take a look at the air conditioning unit in our room (#122) - it was pretty loud. We'll definitely stay here again.

It was clean and comfortable. Check inn was easy and the check-in person was very helpful in recommending places nearby to eat. It is also pet friendly with plenty of area to walk our dog.
