This is one of the most unique and beautiful properties in Lafayette if not Louisiana. The landscaping, the historic architecture, and breakfasts all contributed to a truly amazing stay. I was lucky to stay in the Live Oak cabin with a swing on the porch. Sitting there early in the morning listening to birds or watching the rain from a passing storm was unparalleled. The proprietor Donell Totaro was lovely to talk to about the property and surrounding area. There is no place else to stay in Lafayette - this is where you should be.

The room was clean and quiet. The staff were nice. I was annoyed we had to pay extra $20 for a microwave, so no place to heat up any left overs you have from restaurant. All the employees were nice and helpful. The Casino was clean and had a good selection of games. I was disappointed that I wasn’t able to play long. Machines just constantly took the money with no specials unless I outright paid for it. We would have stayed longer if we could win and loose and get to play instead of loose money quickly.
