"Beautiful property and unit. My reason for a Good rating, rather than an Excellent rating, was that both afternoons (after 4:00) the code given to me didnt work. Not fun trying to get into your unit in 100 degree heat. But, I was able to get assistance through a phone call each time (took a while the 2nd night!) from very nice staff people."

"The hotel had everything we needed for our hiking trip to the Crater Lake NP. The place is not massive. It's privately owned therefore the owner(s) is very attentive and personable. Location: easy 1 hour to 1 hr 15 min into the Crater Lake hiking trails. There's a market within 3 minutes from the hotel where you can find almost anything. The drive from the hotel into the park is very nice. The hotel itself: -Very clean and spacious. We stayed in the King room suite #15 -The yard is well kept with a lot of rose bushes planted along yard. -The room is fully stocked with K-Cup coffees, toilet papers, towels and other necessities. But if you need additional items, they have a couple of golf-carts that could get to your room in a few seconds to bring you what you need. -It was hot (upper 90 degree), and humid but the AC works wonderfully. - There's a river behind the property, and we caught a family of 3 deers wandered on the lawn and then swam across the river to the other side of the bank. It was a wonderful site to be seen. Overall, we absolutely enjoyed our 3-nite stay at the Riverfront Lodge in Shady Cove, and highly recommend for your next lodging near the Crater Lake National Park."

"Ok so I did NOT pay attention when booking this place. It ended up being a fine stay, but we were a little shocked on check in. It felt a little like summer camp, primitive even, but all things considered we were there for 1 night so it was fine. If you stay in the lodge rooms, there is no air conditioning. It was hot when we first arrived, but it cooled down at night and was tolerable and even chilly so not the end of the world. The bathrooms were shared like a hostel but they were very clean and well appointed. There is little to no WiFi, at first we were struggling but actually we took the opportunity to talk and kind of spend some undistracted time with each other. The other couple we were traveling with said their door did not have a functioning padlock, just the chain. There are very few restaurants or convenience stores around unless you travel back to Prospect. There is one restaurant with good food but it closes at 8. There’s an ice cream shop but it closes at 5. I throw this information out there as helpful tips but overall for the price, the area, and for 1 night it was sufficient and worked out fine."

"My family of four had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful property! Our host contacted us well before we arrived to make sure they had everything available that we would need, and responded very quickly to our messages. Everything was immaculate upon arrival, and our host was there to greet us, make sure we could get in, and knew where everything was. Anything we could possibly need was available, including pool towels, goggles and floats; plenty of bath towels, toiletries and a first aid kit; dishes, coffee & spices; etc. And if we needed anything, our host was just upstairs and only a text away! (Although nearby, our host was very respectful of our privacy.) The outdoor area was beautiful, my kids loved the pool, and inside we could relax at the end of the day watching a movie or playing a game from their collection. Our experience was amazing, and we would absolutely stay here again!"

"A charming cabin, clean and very thoughtfully stocked. The only thing we were missing is couple more pots in the kitchen (there is a single big one), otherwise it has everything you need for a good vacation stay. We enjoyed it very much and hope to come back again!"

"Place was Awesome! Perfect for our Fourth of July weekend, pool was nice and clean and the property was amazing! Fresh strawberries and plums right out the front door! The host Jeannette was more than helpful! Will be coming back!"
