My husband and I work from home and were wanting a weekend getaway. We had no idea where we wanted to go or do. We came across this cottage and booked it right away. It did not disappoint. The cottage was so cute with amazing views. It had everything you could need. We are already looking for dates to come back in the summer so we could enjoy the lake!

Stunning location on the lake
Absolutely gorgeous location. Home is completely updated. When we walked in, we were struck by the fresh scent and cool decor. Host was welcoming via text. Highly recommend, when we come back to Houghton Lake, we will stay here again.

We were so impressed with everything! It is an older cottage that has been completely redone. Extremely clean, comfortable and relaxing. Great views! There were so many thing supplied that we may need and everything that they thought of to prepare for great vacations for their renters.

Sister reconnect time!
Perfect, peaceful, clean, bright! So close to the water the living room felt like a sunporch! Owner thought of every little thing to make this cottage feel like home. Very generous snack tray, coffee, filters, baggies and such all supplied. Beds comfortable, we slept like rocks. Started the morning on the porch and ended the day in the same spot. Wonderful walking area to look at all cute well maintained cottages. Just what we needed and couldn't be more grateful!

Perfect Weekend Getaway
The cottage was so cute and exactly what we were looking for. The lake is literally steps from the back door, which my husband loved since he spent Saturday on the lake, ice-fishing. There are tons of great little restaurants and bars close by, as well. We had a fabulous time, and we’ll definitely be back!

This was a beautiful cottage on the lake! We went for ice fishing activities and it was perfect. The house was extremely quaint and clean. Everything is new and owners provided great amenities. The owners were phenomenal with communication. A really great stay. Hope to go back again!

Winter weekend in Houghton Lake
We had recently sold our place in this area and wanted to enjoy a weekend in the area. This was a great little place on the lake. It was clean and decorated nicely. We enjoyed our weekend and are already thinking of another weekend to return.
