“The hotel staff was excellent and it was extremely clean. The property is older and needs updating. But you have to understand that Isabela is not a luxury island. It is spartan and basic. Almost all of the streets are dirt roads. The hotel fits right in with that vibe of the island. It is perfectly located within walking distance of everything in town and sits on a wonderful beach.”

“We checked in here when we discovered the original place we had booked was horrible and we could just not stay there. This hotel was a welcome find! I really wish I could remember the lady at the front desk’s name - she was so friendly and helpful, always smiling!! We also had a wonderful massage as well, it was so relaxing!! Special shout out to Jorge who went above and beyond!! We highly recommend this hotel right downtown San Cristobal.”

“From the second we checked in to the second we left, we felt so well taken care of! All staff and personnel were very friendly, property is clean and so beautiful. Breakfast was more than enough and so tasty! Very close location to great (and affordable) restaurants and to town. No complaints at all. Would definitely stay here again if I came back to the island! ”

“Close to restaurants and ferry. However our “beach view” was completely obstructed and the bathrooms had mold all over the ceilings. This was the only Hostal we stayed in that did not have water for us to refill our bottles. They did have a store to buy a few items. My daughter forgot her earphones and they flagged us down to let us know which was really nice. The property needs some serious work. I paid more for the ocean views from the patio but wasn’t able to see it at all. ”
