I stayed here for 5 days on an all-inclusive plan. While the property has a great beachfront location and is fine for families on a budget, the experience was far from 5-star. The staff appeared overworked. Communication can also be a bit of a hurdle if you don't speak Spanish. It had reservation system for finer restaurants, wait time in the italian one was incredibly time-consuming. Additionally, expect to be approached constantly by vendors on the beach selling rentals.

The rooms were outdated with old furniture. No servers to come around by the pools to bring drinks you just go up to the bar each time. NO SHADE ANYWHERE for us lighter caucasians who need to be in the shade to not burn.

The units are not recently renovated or upgraded as they report. Rooms were not clean. If you book through any site other than the resort the staff is not helpful. Food was awful. Staff was not attentive. I would not recommend unless your a high school or college student or on a very tight budget.

La llegada fue buena, pero el parqueo donde nos estacionamos era muy poco adecuado e incluso descuidado. El personal de bienvenida no fue muy agradable. El check-in fue rápido y sencillo, pero a la hora de comer en el buffet nos llevamos una gran decepción. En cuanto a las habitaciones, estaban muy limpias y cuidadas, pero no las limpiaron mientras estuvimos allá. La playa y la piscina son excelentes; también las actividades y deportes que se pueden hacer son muy buenos. Los cócteles podrían haber sido mejores, pero están decentes. Very disappointing experience. Myself, my husband, and three friends felt completely ignored and poorly treated throughout our stay. Customer service was lacking, and we even had to involve a manager from the front desk just to be heard. We did not feel welcomed at all. Would not recommend.

I feel like the breakfast buffet was lacking in variety. The hot food could have been warmer. The lunch a dinner buffet was better. We tried all of the restaurants except the Asian one because we ran out of time. The Italian and steakhouse were our favorites. The seafood restaurant lacks variety and quality. The late night pizza and taco spots were great! We loved the daily entertainment and the walk ability of the resort.

For my room it took forever to get into our room once we checked in as it was not ready. There was no outlet covers on the outlets. The maid really did not clean they just made the beds. Our room smelled like pot everyday as our next door room was smoking and smell would seep under door. The ammenities were never replenished unless we said something.

It was very difficult to get anything you needed. We called several times to get what we needed and it was never taken care of the first or second time. They told us we couldn’t get more than two wash clothes, for a family of 5, because they didn’t have any. There was a leak in our room along with mold so we had to switch rooms. We were told we were going to be upgraded, but they decided to put us in the middle of all the chaos where it was loud which had two separate rooms for my family and I.We purchased a family suite. Outlets and the toilet button fell off the wall when you touched them and there was a cockroach in the closet. After all of the issues with two days left of our trip they decided to give us royal treatment, which didn’t help at all because we were with another family and did not want to leave them. The manager was absolutely unprofessional and nasty to talk to. We will NEVER return to this hotel.
