This place was awesome!! Clean the staff was super friendly and caring, the breach the difference restaurants to eat from the water park and the pool was amazing. We really enjoyed our time there. I would definitely recommend Riu Palace Baravo to others and whenever I go back to Dominican Republic I will definitely stay there again. Love it!!

The room was very clean and comfortable. The Staff was able all the time to help and give good service. The restaurants highly qualified,delicious food and excellent presentation. The bar staff and swim-up bar perfect with the service and the preparation of all different liquors and cocktails. Would like to be there again.

The resort is newly renovated. The resort is clean with plenty pools, bars and restaurants to keep you busy. They also have a food court for lunch. Ice cream and coffee bar near the reception. Staff are friendly.

The Hotel itself is beautiful. Great views and beach. However tons of seaweed and what bothered me most were the flies all over the food. I hardly ate because of how disgusted I was. The food could've also been better.

The hotel is very large and beautiful, and the staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. The overall atmosphere was great, and I would definitely recommend it. The only negative aspect was the room, which had a noticeable musty smell. The food was very good, although there is still some room for improvement. The pool could probably use a bit more maintenance, but considering the large number of guests, it’s understandable that it may not always look perfectly clean. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and would recommend this hotel to others.

The resort itself is great. The Bach was fantastic along with all their pools. One massive downside was the food was not that great. The staff was decent. With how massive the resort it bound to have good and bad staff. Not as family oriented as it may seem. You will have people there that are there to party but again. Massive resort wasn’t a problem for us and our child but just be aware.

I’ve been to this resort three times, most recently just three days ago, and overall we had a pleasant stay. I really like this resort—the new look is much improved compared to two years ago, and the staff were friendly and provided good service. However, the breakfast buffet felt a bit underwhelming this time. Something seemed to be missing, although I can’t quite put my finger on what it was. It was better about 3–4 years ago. Dining overall was still good, but the meat dishes were quite dry and could use improvement. That said, for the price we paid, it was reasonable, and we still enjoyed our stay.

Swim up bar was very good, great selection & staff was awesome. The buffett was great, Stefanie & Valentin were awesome. The grounds looked beautifully maintained. The staff is definitely what makes this resort, extremely nice, caring & very helpful. Staff make you feel like you've known them forever. If you drink alot of water make sure to grab bottles at the front desk lobby. Our room fridge wasn't always stocked. Last day no coffee & sugar stocked in room. Excursion Family Boogies, not worth it, just a hustle, rushed excursion, trying to take your money throughout excursion, waste of time, it was booked on the beach of resort so you'd think it would be good. Especially with the amount of money spent to stay there. Killed 2 little bugs in room, appeared to look like a type of roach, careful with luggage. Alot of seaweed on the beach, piled, no cleaners in sight. Again, amount paid for resort you'd think it would be round the clock cleaned. Beach & water are were great other then that. There was one day that was all-round great with no seaweed. Sunrise was beautiful.

My stay at Riu Punta Cana was disappointing due to poor organization, inconsistent service, and weak management. Manuel at the front desk was outstanding and did everything he could to help, but it often seemed he lacked support from management. Check-in was disorganized, housekeeping was inconsistent after the first day, and room cleanliness and restocking did not meet expectations. The food was average, and restaurant service was poor, with little attention given to guests. The bartenders worked hard but appeared understaffed. The entertainment was one of the few highlights and was enjoyable throughout the stay. Having stayed at other Riu resorts, especially in Mexico, I expected much better customer service and hospitality. This location has significant room for improvement in management, staffing, communication, and guest relations. The resort also seemed focused on extra charges, which added to the frustration. While the property has potential, major improvements are needed before I could recommend it. Based on my experience, travelers should consider other options until service and management standards improve.

Amazing vacation experience! We had such a wonderful stay at Riu Palace Bavaro. The resort was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun vacation. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the food had plenty of options, and the pools and beach were absolutely amazing. We especially loved the entertainment, activities, and the overall atmosphere of the resort. The location was perfect, with a gorgeous beach and beautiful grounds to enjoy every day. Our room was comfortable and well taken care of, and we appreciated how much effort the staff put into making our stay special. This was a memorable trip for our family, and we would definitely recommend Riu Palace Bavaro to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing all-inclusive vacation. We can’t wait to come back! 🌴☀️
