"We enjoyed the restaurant and the surounding areas. It’s nice if you want to get some light hiking in while other members of your family relax. We saw lots of wildlife. It’s in the forest so you will get bugs in your room if you take food to your room."

"We had a wonderful stay at this fantastic hotel right in the heart of Monteverde. Our room was modern and comfortable with amazing rainforest views. The on-site amenities are top-notch - beer garden (with great food and homemade beer), jacuzzi, yoga classes, juice bar - and everything at the hotel is done sustainably. The hotel's own farm (Finca Madre Terra) provides most of the restaurant's ingredients, including the cheeses, and every dish we tried was amazing. As a non-drinker, I was also very pleased by the delicious mocktails. We also booked a Horseback Riding experience at Finca Madre Terra through the hotel and it was a highlight of our Costa Rica trip. We had a fantastic stay. (PS - don't skip the walking path, we saw so many white faced capuchins!)"
