It had a rustic look but was modern other than that. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Loved the extra amenities like the hot tubs, pool table and observation tower. Such a nice bonus that they do an Aurora wake up call so you don't miss the Northern Lights. The staff was friendly. Loved that the owner was present on the property and mingling with guests. The bar and restaurant were amazing! The food was wonderful. We enjoyed dinner and the breakfast buffet. We had dinner at their restaurant and it was one of our top meals in Iceland. We also ordered a lunch box for the following day and it was amazing, saved us time and could go straight to our hikes.
