What a gem- a historical landmark and museum. A professional, quality staff, unique rooms, excellent breakfast, gourmet dinner, awesome wine selection, etc. The value was just unmatched in terms of what you receive for the cost, especially compared to hotels in the US. One of the best hotel experiences I have had in a long time in my travels.
We loved the hotel and its location with its beautiful grounds and elegance. Service was very good and the room was large and very pleasant. We enjoyed breakfast and all staff were very friendly and helpful.
Srunnign property. Right on the sea front. Well maintained pool and garden. I opted for half board. Worth it, the food was outstanding. Staff are lovely and very friendly. I didnt want to leave.
Loved Rimini, especially the downtown area. The beach was lovely and relaxing. The hotel is Grand - manage your expectations when booking an historic property. The room was small, but beautiful and well maintained. The grounds were lush and inviting.

The viewwasstunning
Closes to San Marino and theFlini musium as well as the beacbes
Fantastic old style hotel but kept up to date, keeping the original features. Staff were really friendly and always helpful. We stayed out of season but would love to come back in the peak season
Beautiful hotel with wonderful customer service. Great location and easy access to the beach. Unfortunately, there is a nightclub in the basement of the hotel, which made sleeping difficult some nights because of the noise.
The total experience was out standing. The spa, room and dining could not have been better. Everything was fully priced with the service being fault free. Would return, without question.
Great place. Was excited about the spa treatments and they were able to fit us in on short notice. Spa front desk person was very rude, on the phone and at the spa. I’m glad we got our treatment anyway as the massage person was great.
The Grand Hotel was elegant for a beachfront hotel. Great sense of history and grandeur, but still reasonable. Restaurant food was good and staff was all wonderful.
The beachfront Amerigo Vespucci Blvd was easily accessible. The historic town center was about 20-30 min walk, but a pleasant and safe walk. Easy parking at Parcheggio Flori if you decide to drive to town
We are never disappointed staying at the hotel. Been coming for many years. We were all treated very well ( including our dog). The food is very high quality and ambience is very relaxing. Looking forward to returning.
Simply amazing. Each and every Hotel staff member was courteous and knowledgeable. We worked on our Italian and they were patient and most spoke English well. Guiliermo at the gate was a gem. We will return for certain.
Review for Grand Hotel Rimini
The hotel is beautiful and elegant, with charming architecture and a luxurious atmosphere. Breakfasts were excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. The overall experience was very pleasant.
However, the rooms could benefit from some renovation, as certain elements are starting to show their age. I was quite surprised that in a five-star hotel, complimentary water was only provided on the first day and not replenished daily. There was also no coffee in the room, which is unusual for this level of accommodation.
One important note: it’s not advisable to book a sea view room. While the view is lovely, the seaside area is full of nightclubs, and the music can be extremely loud throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep.
Also, for international travelers — if you leave the hotel’s immediate area, it can be very difficult to find a taxi. Unfortunately, the front desk is unable to arrange taxi pickups outside the hotel premises.
That said, the stay was overall enjoyable, and the staff were polite and helpful.

Interesting and historical building. Great location by the sea. Staff and management very mediocre. Old fashioned with little attention to detail. Not the usual 5 star service you expect. They rely too much on the past. I would not stay again.
This hotel is beautiful. The room was spacious!
The housekeepers were wonderful!
The greeting at reception was friendly! the pool staff got us towels right away. The breakfast staff were helpful and breakfast was delicious.
Just beware of the mosquitos at night and the courtyard has a flying biting bug that left welts on my daughter.
Also, the beach chairs and umbrellas at the beach are not included in the price, they charge extra. We asked for towels and played in the waves for free. The pool chairs are free if you don't mind a lot of people smoking
It is a classic hotel and if you are looking for that, it is fine. However, for the price, the service fall short, I asked for a towel for the beach, they made me wait for 15min at the reception only to find that it was available just behind them . I had to ask for amenities and kettle specifically. There is no access to the inside pool unless you pay for a specific package, not just having a treatment. You need to order your drink, get it, carry it to the garden if you don’t want to get stuck at the back of the hotel. The list goes on. A nice sea view from the room,
Wonderful location. Excellent breakfast. Room was terribly over odorized with a perfume that was overpowering and upon asking for a remedy was simply told it will pass in a few days. The other issue with the hotel is that the “gym” is just a room with some basic things, not four or five star level. Also did not appreciate that the private beach access, as advertised, came with an unadvertised extra fee. Lastly, internet was a nightmare as connection dropped constantly and impossible to have a video meeting or any consistent streaming.
The Hotel is surely a very lovely historical building and the position is fine. The category is supposed to be a 5star L, but this do not correspond with the reality. multiple minimal elements are not in line with the category (bedroom slippers are small, guardarobe is broken and with broken light, communicating door with next room is not isolated and you get noise, restaurant's staff don't wait for you to terminate your plate, cleaning staff are not accurate, and many more). All of these, are minor issues, but not acceptable for a 5starL.
The front desk welcome wasn't great we were put into a tiny room with little furniture a little like a hostel. Didn't match room description. Nice period bathroom. Restaurant was great but the front desk, housekeeping (didn't have clean towels glasses etc) fell short. We complained about our room eventually and got a much better bigger room. The manager said we were "upgraded" to a sea view (tiny window) - regret not doing this earlier. Wife booked a massage but when she went for it - double booked; no apology. Like other reviews it is loud at night and events are always prioritised.
