"Although we only stayed for one night, it was one of the best experiences we’ve had. "I understand the hotel was very fine in its day, the problem seems to be that its day was a long time ago and nothing has really changed inside. Everything feels very old, and not in a charming way. It feels like the bare minimum amount of staff are in place at any one time to reduce outgoings, there was no information about how to access the pool and gym facilities, either from staff or in room info (gents changing rooms closed when I was there which added to my uncertainty). Nothing was terrible, but nothing was particularly good either"
