“This is a very unique house in a very quiet and peaceful location. We only visited for 1 night so we did not get to enjoy it as much as we could have. Small miscommunication with our booking but as we went on an evening tour, things were straightened out and all was well by the time we returned. This would be a very fun place for a group of friends as there was a big field to play in, tons of beds, and a big covered communal area to play games. Many amazing birds and the gardens in the front are gorgeous. Definitely stay more than one night. Johnny the guide Rick and Ashley recommended was great and reasonably priced.”

“The Red Sunset is by far the best place we have ever stayed. There wasn’t anything that you could need or want missing, and the artwork in the house is an artist dream world. We saw Toucans and Guans every day. The view is stunning, the pool and everything with it fun, and the entire house is extremely comfortable. We loved every minute we spent there. “Mike's place is stunning. The views are incredible, the birds provide endless interest, and the quiet is very peaceful. The pool is refreshing after a hot day of excursions and the ground staff or Mike are always present to turn the waterslide on for the little ones if desired. My 15 year old loved having open access to a well equipped gym. The house has every convenience you could possibly need but Mike is very responsive to any enquiry or request. Great communication. “We were there for just a one night stay. Clean and all we needed to crash after a long day! There’s a beautiful view of the lake and a nice yard as well. The owner was a little more chatty than needed but was very kind. No wearing your shoes inside which seemed a little odd as our feet were dirtier than our shoes. Overall a nice place and would definitely recommend!”

The portable AC unit isn’t really suffient to cool the house during the day. That being said, if you’re venturing out for day adventures this is perfect!
