"This was an old, but renovated, motel. Very clean room including clean beds/sheets, spotless bathroom, working fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker. Beds very comfortable. The sink (vanity) was in the bedroom (like we've encountered in Europe), and its positioning in the room was slightly inconvenient, but it was clean and the light was good. No problem for us. I'd definitely recommend the place, but don't expect a high end Sheraton or Hilton."

"Carolina Motel is one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed. The guy that runs it is great and very helpful with knowledge of the area restaurants and activities. The pool area is well kept and towels were provided poolside. The no smoking rules are strict but are for the common courtesy of your night neighbors and staff. They do provide a designated smoking area with a fire pit and chairs. I would highly recommend Carolina Motel"

"Don't be fooled by the entrance from the highway to the cabin. This is a diamond in the rough. I was highly surprised and truly enjoyed our stay. Our room was very comfortable, and the breakfasts are the best, I haven't had this good of food at any restaurant. Very peaceful and a great place to relax. "
