“Beautiful location and nice hotel, but has some management issues and hit my 3 strike rule.
1. Hot tub wasn’t working and smelled like algae.
2. A/C was not working in the fitness center.
3. Breakfast was sparse to begin with and they were also out of a lot of items. A bad breakfast is just a deal breaker for me.”
“We stayed in The Cabin, which is a large converted pottery studio with a beautiful interior. Two king beds and very roomy. It was a beautiful interior with lots of amenities, such as a refrigerator, (no freezer). Lots a windows with a huge outdoor patio area. The location is fine. Note that Cashiers is a one light town. There is a fairly large grocery store about 5 miles away. You drive most anywhere you need to go. Very nice restaurants nearby. The brewery that is next door is a fun place to……
“This was our second stay in a one bedroom in Falrway Forest. It is perfectly situated for quiet in the mountains but also close to restaurants and shopping and many other activities offered through the amenity card. Only downside for older folks is the multiple levels and stairs to access living level, kitchen and bedroom. Will stay here again when we travel to Sapphire”
“If I could give Brook Trout Inn ten stars I would. Julie, her husband Steve, and their right hand woman, Holly, were welcolming, friendly and helpful. The facilities were spotless, the breakfast eggs were cooked to order with almost everything else you could ask for to start the day. Run, don't walk to this Inn the next time you are in the area and need somewhere to stay. Who needs a chain hotel when you can stay with what feels like family❤️?
Also, we brought our 17'9" boat and parking was no……
“Place was amazing! Really all that needs to be said. Amazing! Perfect location with lots of little details that put the perfect touch on perfect place.”
“Loved this motel ,very clean very friendly staff. One staff member recommended a wonderful restaurant in Georgia called the Blue Hound BBQ it was excellent. The restaurant was only 15 mins away. Very quiet and relaxing.”
“The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and for the longest time no one was around to help or explain what was happening. Needless to say we didn't sleep well after that and the manager a couple days later said it was nothing he could do about comping up a free night stay. That is not good business. We will be marking Best Western off of our list of travel lodging. The location of this hotel was in a very strange location. River was the best feature and it was not glorious. The……
