“Ioana was a super responsive host and it meant a lot to us. We felt very welcomed and taken care of. Every little detail was taken care of and made the stay very easy. It would be great to get a visitor guide to understand what else is available in the area. Otherwise, all was great and we appreciate the stay!”

“Loved our stay at this cottage! The dock for our boat was perfect, we got out fishing everyday. Clean and a great size for the 2 of us plus our dog. Outdoor space had great activities. Communication was good as well. Perfect on the lake location, couldn’t beat the view. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Catch More Resort. Very peaceful setting, loved being able to sit and look at the lake and listen to the birds. Liked the availability of the kayaks, canoes and swimming pool. Beds were very comfortable and we appreciated that we had our own fire pit, the wifi was great and there was lots of parking. Cottages are a little close together, but it wasn't an issue. Be prepared to bring your own Roku or laptop to connect to the TV.

“I booked 7 months in advance. Three months prior to stay I had a change to my travel plans. I requested cancellation of the first night of my 9 night stay to accommodate my itinerary. I was told it was not possible. I sent them a copy of their own policy that showed it was allowed. Carstin (the property manager, I presume) said that they would discuss the request with “the team” and keep me posted. After 5 weeks of not hearing from him, I requested an update on the cancellation request status.……

“This was the best time I’ve spent in Canada. I came here with my family, and our host was incredibly welcoming. We were even greeted with two bottles of wine as a thoughtful welcome gift. We had some lovely conversations, and the host was kind enough to let us stay an extra night, which we really appreciated. Everything was perfect-we couldn’t find a single negative thing to say. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again with the family.

“This beautiful well kept, organized and clean cottage was a nice break away from the city! The view to the lake was calming. Loved the flowers, selection of tree's and the spacious piece of land for our dogs to run around safely. Loved the option of propane and charcoal BBQ. But our most favorite spot was the outside porch, the seating arrangements and the cushion comfort was just perfect for morning coffee and a BBQ lunch/supper. Oh and we suspect that they spray for ‘bugs as we sat nothing……

“ The unkept and neglected exterior led to a grubby interior. One of the plastic deck chairs was broken and unusable. Floors were dirty and left our socks grey; there was pink mould in the tub & shower stalls, black mould on the water level of one toilet and no one had cleaned the ceiling ventilation fans or behind the toilets in either bathroom.
