“After reading the reviews we decided to take a punt and book the holiday. I’m so glad we did! All the reviews (good and bad) are spot on. The property is ‘rustic’. There are no frills but the layout of the house was perfect for 2 families and it is spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you need. We all forgot towels and Lucie was at the door before I had even signed off. ”

“We booked Chez Suzy for a family reunion, and it was perfect. 7 berooms, most ensuite. Facilities were great too with a lovely pool and gardens. Nice bbq area with a choice of either charcoal or gas. We dined outside as we barbecued most nights with the seating area more than adequate for our number. Most of the family drove from the UK, Germany and Gibraltar and more than enough room for the 3 cars.We highly recommend and hopefully we can visit again.Evelyne proved a lovely host and was always……

“Nous avons apprécié ce chalet facile à vivre et confortable. Idéalement situé nous avons pu faire différentes activités aux alentours. Le plus c’est la piscine !C’est avec regret que nous avons du écourter notre séjour mais nous y reviendrons c’est sûr.”

“Super séjour dans cette maison bien équipée, avec un très grand jardin, la piscine.. elle est très bien située, au calme avec la forêt au bout du jardin, et au centre des lieux touristiques (châteaux , magnifiques villages, canoe...) Les commerces sont à quelques minutes en voiture. Et la propriétaire est très gentille :) nous reviendrons”

“We hebben twee geweldige weken doorgebracht in dit fijne en bijzondere huis. Bruno is erg aardig en was altijd bereid een vraag te beantwoorden of een tip te geven. De locatie is perfect als uitvalsbasis voor veel verschillende soorten uitstapjes. En als het erg warm was, was er een airco en een zwembad! De oprijlaan is steil, gelukkig is er iets verderop nog een minder steile opgang. ”

The property itself was excellent - perfect location, tastefully decorated, well-equipped and very clean. It was also ideally situated for exploring the many sights of interest in the Perigord Noir and its surrounding areas. We would certainly recommend La p'tite bergerie.”
