“The White Ibis Retreat was ideal for our vacation. We were able to walk to the waterfront easily and enjoy the houses along the way. The dog park was very convenient across the street. The property is nestled in the trees and was very peaceful. We enjoyed relaxing on the back porch while reading and grilling. The condo was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and such. We appreciated the washer and dryer as well. Although it was nice to have televisions I would like to have...

“It was a fun experience to stay in such a unique spot. My teen and I enjoyed the kayaks at sunset. And waking up to that view was lovely. Our hosts had a lot of nice touches with the coffee station, snacks and nice bath products. (And while the location is a little unusual, road traffic wasn’t really too bad with the air conditioning on.) it was really cool to stay right on the water in a former fishing cabin, while still being easily able to explore Swansboro, Cedar Point and Emerald Isle. ”

“What a great place. The most comfortable place we have stayed in years. House was so well stocked with pretty much everything you could think of needing. We cook a lot and the kitchen had almost everything we have at home. Kids were happy with all the games that were in the house. Walking distance from Crab Shack which we went for one night. Our host sent me a suggestion for a food truck which was also yummy!!We truly enjoyed our stay!!”

It made it so easy to go back and forth throughout the day, especially with a toddler in tow. It really made our vacation smooth and stress-free. Would absolutely stay here again!”

We had our cats with us and it was so nice to have the big master bed room for them to hang out in during the week when we were in and out.
