You can get lost for couple of hours or so, just climbing up & down. Edward James was a Scottish poet and sculptor. In 1944, James arrives in Mexico with the idea of ​​"putting a Garden of Eden" in that country. Accompanied by Roland McKenzie and Plutarco Gastelum, choose a field on the edge of the Santa Maria River in Xilitla, on top of the Sierra Huasteca northeastern Mexico. He settled there and, with the help of huastecos workers, built a surreal garden. "It was a good hotel to stay in the area. No wifi or tvs in the rooms, only in the lobby. Its kind of far from everything but the restaurant is decent, with good food and good prices. Overall it was fine to visit several waterfalls from here. I would recommend it as long as you understand that you will be a bit disconnected from internet and it would be 20 mins to ciudad valles."
