Magnífica vista al cañón, cubierta enorme, comedor al aire libre

Casa amueblada de 3 dormitorios / 2 baños en el encantador y tranquilo vecindario de San Rafael, entre San Francisco y Sonoma / Napa.

La casa está ubicada en el vecindario Sun Valley de San Rafael: West End, en la frontera con San Anselmo, con magníficas vistas del cañón desde la sala de estar, el comedor y el dormitorio principal. Toda la parte trasera de la casa cuenta con una amplia terraza con puertas corredizas de vidrio separadas desde la sala de estar, el comedor y el dormitorio principal.

La terraza exterior del dormitorio principal y el comedor cuenta con 2 mesas redondas de hierro forjado y sillas para tomar el café de la mañana, cenar, tomar una copa o simplemente disfrutar de la vista. Mientras la cubierta corre a lo largo de toda la parte trasera de la casa, una porción puede ser acordonada para reparaciones.

Las habitaciones delanteras, la cocina y el área de desayuno dan a un pintoresco jardín de rocas donde se puede disfrutar del maravilloso sol de la tarde.

La cocina bien equipada cuenta con un acogedor rincón para desayunar, un nuevo refrigerador de acero inoxidable de cuatro puertas con puerta francesa, lavaplatos y estufa eléctrica, y microondas y horno nuevos.

Comedor y sala de estar con hermosos pisos de madera terminados. Amplia área familiar interior / exterior con techos altos, grandes ventanas y chimenea de gas que ofrece comodidad y un ambiente acogedor.

Dos habitaciones frontales tienen pisos de madera y mucho espacio de guardarropas. Comparten un baño de visitas remodelado.

El dormitorio principal tiene pisos de madera, un baño privado y un amplio vestidor. Puertas correderas a la terraza donde puede disfrutar de las vistas del espacio abierto o disfrutar de su café de la mañana.

Área de lavandería con lavadora y secadora en la casa.

Home también cuenta con un amplio estacionamiento en la calle.

La casa tiene mucho espacio de almacenamiento.

Hilltop house with lovely view

Excellent AC for hot days in August. Wonderful patio view. See the bay from the road in front. Quiet neighborhood. Convenient access to local grocery and restaurants. Beautiful living room.

Spectacular View of the Bay

This property was just as described! Very well maintained and the home accommodated me, my husband and my 2 adult children perfectly. We loved some the retro elements of the home! Our favorite though was the spectacular views from the deck. The deck is very large with lots of seating and views for days. The home had everything we needed and is located right between San Rafael and San Anselmo which was perfect for us. The owner lives downstairs, but we really never saw them. They were super easy to communicate with though! I highly recommend!

Wonderful family visit

The house is very comfortable with a lovely living room that has amazing views. We enjoyed the deck immensely and the location to San Anselmo was perfect for our needs.We are a family of 5 with three young adult children. One of the kids slept on a single mattress in the living room which worked out fine for our purposes. I saw our host a couple of times and he was very kind and helpful.Thanks for providing this lovely home for our stay!

Lee is a great host. He gave us some good hikes to explore and a few restaurants as well. The home has an amazing back deck with great views. The house is well equipped and has a great set of pots, pans and all the necessary utensils. It is located in quiet part of town with light traffic.

Beautiful views!

We stayed for a family wedding and the property was great! The morning views on the deck were perfect. The weather was extremely hot but once we figured out the ac the home was very comfortable.

Family trip

We needed a location for a family trip and this was perfect. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. Beautiful views from the deck made sitting out with a glass of wine perfect! Lee was very quick to respond to any questions. Only issue that was stressful was figuring out the trash situation and making sure everyone put the trash in the appropriate containers :) Would definitely stay here in the future.

Nice variety

Great property. Nicely equipped. Had several dinners on the deck which offers a wonderful view. We had stayed in Sausalito our previous few trips, and this property provided some nice variety of new restaurants and places to explore.

Beautiful place

A lovely spacious house with fabulous views and sitting areas on the back deck and a small garden in front. Immaculate and well-appointed with kitchen necessities, linens, and seating areas. Easily accessible for wheelchair users. Convenient to San Rafael, Highway 101, and Sir Francis Drake. This was our second stay, and we'll book it again the next time we visit the area.

Bay Area Visit

Great place! Wonderful views, quiet, clean, and in the middle of everything. There’s a ferry to downtown San Francisco that’s 10-15 minutes away (30 min boat ride to the main Ferry terminal), Muir Woods, Sonoma wine country, Sausalito and more all within a short drive. Comfortable beds after long days sightseeing. Thanks Lee!

Great house with a great view

Lovely house and super friendly host!

The house is amazing and as pictured. One thing to note though is the recycling rules, please read before your stay so you don't end up sorting trash like we did on our last day (we didn't read carefully until the night before our check out). Host was very friendly and easy to communicate with! We enjoyed our stay.

Nice House but Not My Kind of Stay

The house has good bones but the whole arrangement of the owner living in the basement and all of the rules (there's even one about toddlers running in the house, clearly he has never had kids) is a little off putting, so make sure you are totally fine with this. I thought I was and turns out I wasn't! It seems that the cleaning is done by the owner and not professionals. I misplaced my keys and saw lots of dust bunnies in the corners of the house. I personally prefer more of a hotel-like stay and this was more like staying at a friend's house. Also I don't feel it is fair to charge a cleaning fee when the house isn't clean. I can see why people rated it so high, but this just isn't my type of property.

Sisters’ birthday celebration

This house has a wonderful layout, large rooms, magnificent views, comfortable furniture and beds. We were able to find all supplies for cooking and entertaining for our small family gathering. The sunrises and sunsets were amazing! Thank you for sharing this special location.

Wonderful stay in Marin

Members of my family and I had a wonderful week at Lee's house. I lived in the Bay Area for 30+ years and rented the house to host Thanksgiving for members of my family. The house was very comfortable and had a nice dining room for us, as well as a lovely deck. The neighborhood was nice, and there was ample parking. The house was accessible to everything we needed or wanted to do. Lee and his wife were cordial and responsive hosts, and I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in Marin County.
