"The house and surrounding are exactly as pictured. It did not disappoint!! The view is spectacular! The property was very private and peaceful. The house was clean and very well equipped. "The fern grove cabin was absolutely perfect for an escape to the mountains! The backyard with the twinkle lights and access to the river was stunning. Beautifully decorated and cozy interior, and the beds were actually really comfortable. So peaceful falling asleep to the sound of the rain and river. "This cozy cottage was everything we hoped it would be and more. We loved the train running by, it added to the Christmas magic. Very clean and had everything we needed, we enjoyed the hot tub and armoire of board games. The only negative was the shower pressure was a little light, but overall a small detail and we were very happy with our stay. We will definitely be returning!"

"Overall great place! The only area for improvement is the BBQ. It is worn out and cooks extremely slowly. Both tanks of propane were empty when we arrived too :( We did have the foresight to bring our own tank, but ended up using the stove to cook instead because the BBQ was frustratingly slow. The mountains were enjoyed throughout the day, the running water of the river drowned out the worries of the day, and our children enjoyed spending a good portion of our day outside on the property. "My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. We went hiking on some nearby trails and that was a lot of fun. It was nice to come back and enjoy the hot tub. We recently sold our home and are apartment dwellers so this was a nice escape. It reminded me of our old house so we felt right at home there.
