Quiet sleepy town. Very pretty area
The host is wonderful and enjoyed the chats we had. Lots of little shops in main town areas and lots of restaurants to choose from. Hikes and swims are great too but you need a car to get to them. Very quiet and peaceful area for relaxation if that is what you are looking for.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s a great central location in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. We loved being able to see the water from the front room and outdoor patio. Deb and Jim are excellent hosts. Made us feel right at home. Anything we asked for they provied for us. Including a little extra. ( Bowl of fruit and veggies from garden and home made tea biscuits Yummy). Very clean and comfortable. Best mattress I've ever slept on. Offered us golf clubs and kyak if we wanted. Will recommend to anyone and would for sure go back if ever in area again.

Lovely bright clean spacious accomodation close to everything
I had A great stay here. The hosts Deb and Jim were very kind and friendly. Very nice and helpful with my two year old son providing toys and even giving us batteries for a toy that stopped working. The accomodation felt spacious bright airy and clean. They had thought of eveything even in terms of spices, bags, condiments,etc. I felt it perfectly central to everything i had planned to do and see. I would be delighted to stay there again and feel very comfortable and happy to recommend this location to any one who plans to visit.

My 2 daughters and I enjoyed our stay here and found it had everything we needed. It was neat and clean and had a nice ocean view from our own front porch area. Great for coffee in the morning sunrise! We could walk to the beach in 10 minutes. I appreciated the attentiveness of our hosts.

We really enjoyed our stay at Deb & Jim's place in Sechelt. They have been great hosts, helping us enjoy our visit by not only providing a great place to stay at, but also giving great, helpful tips, ideas on places to visit, restaurant recommendations, attractions, etc. Their place is just as depicted in the photos, very clean, neat, organized. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. All appliances, nice furniture, comfortable beds, etc. A very nice couple, a very well-maintained house. If I visited this area again, for sure I would look for Deb and Jim's place. We stayed in various VRBO's so far but this trip as the best ever in terms of hosts and property. Thanks Deb, Jim for a great visit we had, from the whole family.

Thanks, Deb & Jim. My dad told me they had a great time staying at your place and great suggestion on where to go and where to eat. They LOVE it so much!! Lol. My dad keeps showing people he sat in a nice car as it is his. Thanks, Jim. :p Just FYI, I have no idea how he scratched the car from the rocks at your drive way when he was backing out. Luckily I bought an insurance, it got all covered now. I will definitely book your place once it is my turn for my Sunshine Coast trip! Thanks for your hospitality!! Janet

Very cozy and couple or family orientated stay!
The hosts were very kind! If we needed anything, all we had to do was ask! The beds were very very comfortable! We really enjoyed the surprise of a game chest, wii console, and the many brochures and write ups on the area, that were in the suite too. We only stayed for 2 nights, but of course we wish we stayed longer. It's very close to the main beach on Davis Bay, a bit too far for us to walk though with small kids (uphill a bit etc). It was a very homey suite, and home, and my kids were "at home" right away. The suite is very affordable, I think it is a very fair price which makes it easier for longer term stays. :D Thanks! Perfect place to see the Sunshine Coast from
We selected Deb & Jim's place on basis of its central location on the lower Sunshine Coast. As well, we liked the reviews from other guests and we can say that they were accurate. Jim and Deb are very friendly and happy to provide information for new visitors to the area. The unit was very clean and well furnished. Our stay was only 3 nights but it would have been even better had we stayed longer. We highly recommend this place.

What a great place to stay and great people! With the two bedrooms in the back, we put the kids to bed and visited in the large front room . Jim and Deb were friendly, super helpful and accommodating! It is a really quick drive to Sechelt and close to lots of great lakes. The kitchen is cozy and there is everything you need to make meals plus use of a freezer. In suit laundry is great bonus!!! I can't say enough about it! Our experience here was awesome!!! We had a great time thanx so much would highly recommend staying here

spacious suite, gracious hosts, great location!
Stayed with Family July 28th to august 2nd. Suite is very large and comfortably sleeps 4. Large living room so I think getting six people in there would be a breeze. Few air mattresses and Im sure pulling off 8 could be done. Very Clean, Well appointed. Not right on the water but there is a good view and your a 5 minute walk to the beach and pier at Davis Bay. Hosts are extremely friendly people. Crab traps there for your use. Needed an axe to chop some firewood and Jim was happy to oblige. Pets not allowed but if you have little ones the yard is fenced for their security. Full laundry unit for guests exclusive use. Would have given this property 5 stars but lack of a full kitchen has left me with 4. MIcrowave, Hot plate and bar fridge as well as full size bbq but no oven or full size fridge. Full Kitchen is important to me as I like to eat at "home" when I'm on vacation particularly for this length of stay and cooking at this site is a bit of a challenge with somewhat limited facilities. If a full kitchen is not a priority for you then I definitley would reccommend this property for your vacation. Good value for the fees that are charged. Thanks Deb and Jim for your hospitality !
