Welcome to Horizon Hideaway at Sheltop Ranch! This beautiful two-bedroom, two-bathroom home is located in the middle of a working 50-acre cattle farm. With a breathtaking lake view and a panoramic vista stretching over 9 miles and encompassing 20,000 acres of natural beauty, you'll be surrounded by natural splendor. Immediately surrounding the house are hay fields and cattle pastures where you may see (depending on the season) cattle grazing, freshly cut hay, newborn calves, or tall grass swaying in the breeze.

As you enter the home, you'll step into the living room - a warm and inviting space with a vaulted ceiling and a cozy fireplace. The Lane recliners and La-Z-Boy sleeper sofa are both new and comfortable. The sleeper is outfitted with a luxurious memory foam short-queen mattress, offering the best sleeping experience possible from a sleeper sofa. Additionally, the headrest section of the mattress can be raised for reading, watching TV, or for a more comfortable sleeping position.

Check out the artwork above the fireplace. It's not just a decorative piece, it's also the TV. Power it on to use the Roku. When powered off, it automatically reverts to art mode instead of a uninviting black screen. The Roku is set up in guest mode. The first time you power it on, set your departure date and you'll be automatically logged out of all your accounts when your stay is over. You'll need to use your own logins for paid content, but Roku offers a great selection of free content as well.

Our dining table is a beautiful piece of solid wood that comfortably seats six people. The chairs are made of the same wood with comfortable cushions.

Over in the kitchen, you'll find a fully equipped place to prepare your meals and beverages. It's outfitted with a 5 burner gas range, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator with ice maker and water dispenser.

We provide a variety of cookware, pots and pans. We get your meal plans jump started with a basic spices, salt, pepper, and oil available for your use. When you're ready to set the table, you'll find stoneware and glassware, as well as unbreakable plates and cups - ideal dining on the deck. We provide ample silverware, and a variety of utensils including whisks, pizza cutter, measuring cups and spoons, and a grill thermometer. Cleanup supplies include dish rags, sponges, dish soap, tea towels, and a few dishwasher pacs. A garbage disposal makes cleanup even easier.

For your morning caffeine fix, head over to the coffee station. It's equipped with a Keurig Duo for carafe or pod coffee, a French Press, and an electric water kettle for quickly heating water. We offer an assortment of pod and bulk coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, as well as reusable coffee pods that allow you to take advantage of the Keurig pod function with your own favorite coffee. We also provide an assortment of sweeteners and non-dairy creamer. Another touch of luxury you'll find are a couple Ember® coffee mugs. These high-tech mugs can keep your beverage hot for up to an hour and twenty minutes, ensuring that you can savor every sip. After use, simply hand wash them and place them back on their charging coaster to be ready for your next cup of joe.

If you're in the mood for a stronger drink, we have you covered there as well. The bar cabinet includes wine, whiskey, champagne, and martini glasses. The bar tool kit includes essential tools such as a shaker, muddler, strainer, corkscrew, bottle openers, and more. Don't forget to throw the stainless steel ice cubes in the freezer ahead of time! And if you're craving frozen beverages, we also have a blender at your disposal.

Experience a truly restful night's sleep on a brand new Zinus Green Tea memory foam mattress. A variety of charging options are provided as well to ensure your devices recharge while you recharge. On both sides of the bed you'll find not only USB and AC charging ports, but wireless chargers as well.

You'll have ample storage in the dresser, a full-length mirror, and a couple of benches for either dressing or use as a luggage rack. The TV currently offers local OTA channels.

Finally, pamper yourself in the ensuite, featuring tile floors, a luxurious walk-in tile shower and a Jacuzzi tub, perfect for soothing tired muscles and achy joints.

The blue bedroom also has a new queen-size Zinus Green Tea memory foam mattress. Each bedside touch lamp has easily accessible USB ports on the front of the base, and the top surface of the alarm clock doubles as a wireless charger. The TV provides local OTA channels. A large chest has all the storage you might need, and the space is completed with a soft chair and a padded bench that doubles as a luggage rack.

The back deck provides an exceptional vantage point to experience the breathtaking natural beauty. Nearby, you might see grazing cattle, playful calves, or wildlife such as deer, coyotes, rabbits, or turkeys. If you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the elusive neighborhood fox. There's also a great view of Table Rock Lake. The water is an ever-changing palette of colors - from vivid blues and serene grays to shades of sea green or stormy brown. Morning mist often rises from the lake, or sometimes it completely disappears in the fog. At night, the lights of Shell Knob shine in the distance and often twinkle.

You'll find the deck itself outfitted with patio furniture and a gas grill. The grill is connected to the main propane supply, so you never have to worry about running out of fuel.
