We really enjoyed our stay even though it was just 1 night. The pub has a lovely cosy feel with real fires and candles on tables in the evening. The room was comfortable with a small sofa to watch TV, although there wasn't much room either side of the bed, this wouldn't put me off staying here again as everything else was so good, there was air conditioning and the shower was was large with good quality fixtures the whole bathroom was spotless. The staff were all friendly, the evening meal and breakfast were great. Have already looked at other places in the Chickpea group for future travels.

A lovely, welcoming, warm and inviting pub/hotel. Great staff, lovely restaurant and very nice and comfortable rooms. Would love to come back soon!! Log fire going, humm of a popular pub with locals and people staying. Great welcome from very good staff. And a fabulous breakfast too!! Thank you

Just a lovely vibe throughout the whole establishment. They have take time to add all the small touches that makes you stay enjoyable. Beautiful Inn with great service

Beautiful Inn, recently refurbished and the room was excellent. Food was good, drink choice good and staff were both professional and friendly which is a great combination. Highly recommended and I'm sure we will be back.

A perfect stay

We had a really exceptional stay. The building has lots of character and charm. It’s recently renovated and the decor is great. The restaurant is excellent and the pizza option is a great addition to the already extensive menu. The staff couldn’t have done more and service was perfect. We will definitely be back and we’re already checking out the other hotels in the group

A lovely hotel - a real find

This hotel was a real find. Very friendly staff, our room was very comfortable with lovely toiletries and bathroom extras in a bag. We were taken to our room by a very nice man who left fresh milk and home baked cookies. Our meal was excellent and the breakfast freshly cooked, and quite a lot of choice.

A beautiful pub and gorgeous room. Which unfortunately sits bove the bar from where there is constant music playing which you can hear in your room, so not ideal.

We stayed here for one night and I must say, what a wonderful find this inn was! Set in a lovely village location we were made to feel so very welcome from the moment that we walked through the door. The staff and the service were outstanding and a special mention must go to the amazing Sarah who went above and beyond to make our night so special, apologies for making your shift a bit longer than you expected! But you are an absolute credit to the establishment so thank you again. The room was warm, welcoming and beautifully decorated as was the bar/restaurant area. Some fantastic drinks available to try and the food was absolutely top notch, it was just everything that you could want for a night(or longer) away. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay at The Manor House Inn to anyone and we will definitely return again as soon as we can!

We booked a small double for the week end which was perfect for us. It was beautifully furnished and the bathroom was spacious and luxurious. The Staff were brilliant, we received a warm welcome on arrival and nothing was too much trouble. We had the a la carte menu on the first night which was delicious and pizzas from the pizza kitchen on the second - also delicious. Finally - the breakfasts were just fantastic - and again - the team there couldn't be more helpful and attentive. Would highly recommend!
