Although some may not like the location of this BnB, I loved it because it is located out in the country which gave me some great opportunities to walk the country roads and see some beautiful sights, especially since it was Fall and I could see the beauty of God's creation as the tree leaves were changing color. Our hosts were very kind and helpful, and the breakfasts which they provided were not only very tasty, but filling as well. The BnB was kept in its original decor and very beautiful. Don't miss the chance to stay at this out of the way, quiet BnB, By the way, it is located next to the Smith Maple Crest Farm Sugarbush where you can purchase various types of maple products.

This is a Great, Small, family owned and Operated Inn. I grew up in Vermont and try to get back to visit my Family as Often as possible. The Buckmaster will be our home-base as long as Liz and Rich continue to Own this very Nice Throwback Facility. Oh, the Breakfast is a surprise. No Powdered Scrambled Eggs or Canned Anything. If you are a Coffee person, theirs is Fresh Perked and Catches your Nose before your feet enter the Dining Room. Give them a Shot the next time you are in Mid-Vermont.

Great location in a beautiful spot with a wonderful maple sugar farm across the street. Perfect spot to go sightseeing, hiking, skiing, but also close to Rutland for city activities. Very friendly and comfortable.

We had such a lovely stay here! I booked the smallest room but it was so beautifully decorated and so cozy. The entire house was beautiful and the landscape nearby was gorgeous. Elizabeth was so sweet and friendly and made us feel right at home. The homemade breakfasts were absolutely incredible! We were able to stock up on local maple syrup right across the street before we left too. I definitely hope to stay here again someday.

The hosts Richard and Elisabeth were very welcoming and friendly. The house is really pretty with loads of old features. Bedroom very clean and comfortable. Breakfast delicious! Would definitely stay there again.

We had such an amazing weekend staying at the Buckmaster Inn! Only a 20 minute drive to Okemo, coming back to a cozy home was the perfect ending to a couple of long ski days. Fantastic hosts, beautiful house, delicious breakfast, would definitely go back!

A beautiful home to stay in. Our room was perfect.Our host was very welcoming and took time to help us find places to visit. Breakfast was out of this world home baked cakes eggs benedict french toast and pumpkin pancakes with maple syrup. Highly recommend a stay with Elizabeth in this lovely setting .
