Host was welcoming. Would have appreciated a heads up on sicamous shutting down the power on Saturday. But we had a great day driving to Kelowna for the day. Neighbors were friendly. The only reason for my 4 stars is the complex entry process which ended up being non-functional, and the delayed response from the host. It took us over an hour to gain access, and when one has traveled a long distance and is tired, it can be frustrating. I still recommend this property. Water services were shut down for the day due to construction in the area. By the second day, the internet & TV went down and remained unavailable for the rest of the week. The TV in the second bedroom was broken.The appliances were handy however the microwave did not work. After the third day, the Host provided a countertop unit.The bbq was barely usable, the knobs were misaligned and the temperature would not go above 300 degrees F.The balcony was nice and the view was amazing. Krista is a fantastic host - we had a couple of hiccups on arrival and Krista was immediately responsive both on arrival and during our stay. Views from the property are spectacular, and the unit itself is comfortably appointed, with nice added touches like bathing soaps, multiple types of coffee makers, and dimmer switches on lights.
