“Twizt is a great hostel. When you walk in, it's quite surprising that it's a hostel at all, as the decor is quite impressive! I stayed in a four person shared room, and it was quite small but overall very comfortable. The amenities are good quality, especially the pool area. Staff are very kind, helpful, and pleasant and made my time there comfortable and enjoyable. They made organizing a tour of Angkor Wat very straightforward. “The room was clean but we felt the ladders of the bunks were a bit dangerous. Also, the bathroom doesn't provide any amenities, though the bathroom is huge, the sink is high. You should buy/bring shampoo, soap or hairdryer. We stayed only one night but the location is close to the pub street, which is very inconvenient. Air-conditioner worked very well.”

“the experience was not bad actually. but the electricity seemed to be unstable here. i have experienced a day without electricity and it was actually quite inconvenient -- super hot in the room and taking shower was terrible. yet, the experience here overall was quite nice. the staffs are great, very friendly and helpful. a little thing to complain though -- i paid the staff for a tuktuk to the airport, but the tuktuk driver charged me again when i arrived and claimed that the hostel didnt pay……

Excellent staff, room needs some minor upkeep
"Very good. Extremely friendly, excellent staff. From the moment the (hotel-arranged) transport picked me up from the airport to when the (hotel-arranged) transport dropped me off at the airport, all the staff were excellent - very friendly, very helpful, very courteous. The room itself was spacious and well-furnished, great for a solo traveller or a couple. Had a cabana room that opened out onto the pool, which was nice. The hotel is not big, so the pool, restaurant and gym are all easily accessible. There is a small business center as well, and a water fountain that the hotel encourages us to use to not overuse plastic bottles. While the hotel is very good on the whole, it is starting to show signs of wear and tear. Warping of the room door and the wardrobe doors mean they don't seal completely, and the stopper in the bathtub leaked water, making the bath almost unuseable. Once these get fixed, Saem Siem Reap will be an excellent place to stay. Cannot finish on a negative note, so will say again that the staff are really wonderful in their service."
