arrived and realized the ice maker in either (yes there are 2 fridges) did not work. Called Owner and was told he would bring a bag of ice the following day. Then another text saying he was dropping off a bag of ice. There was not even ice cube trays for us to make ice. Two of the bedrooms that are advertised with having Queen size beds only have full size beds. An issue, we were going to have 2 to each bed. We were not able to do so. However, we made the best of it as we were already there. Unit was dirty, garbage under the couches, filthy walls and flooring.
When I booked the unit, I requested a 12pm checkout. And again, when the email with the check in instructions were sent, I again stated we would like a 12pm check out.
On Sunday at 10:45am, David knocked at the door and said we needed to leave, I told him that I had requested a 12pm checkout. His response was did you get a response back... He then said we could stay for an additional $50.00 and that would give us until 1pm. I said ok and he then asked if I was paying him by cash or Venmo.... I asked to have it charged to the card on file and he said he couldn't do that. I then asked what compensation we should get for not having any ice available in the unit for the 3 nights we were there (this is a basic need), and he asked me what I thought I should get. I said just deduct $ 50.00 and call it even. His response was I want you all out in 10 minutes. Pots/pans old and unusable.
