“My family booked a premium room at a wellness spa. This is not what we experienced. Access to the room was via a narrow staircase into the loft. No hand rails. Narrow steps. Basic health and safety issue. The room felt like a half converted loft. Curtains simply hid what was basically an area of junk. The bunk bed for the kids has a large spike just above it. If a child where to sit up quickly i they would put a hole in their head. The one loft window in the room is low down and……

“Stayed in December during our visit to Pairi Daiza and Brugge. We stayed in a clean, spacious room and if you didn’t get it cleaned for a day you’d get a bar voucher. The reception staff were very polite and helpful. We got to breakfast quite late in the morning so lots of the food had run out. Managed to catch the smoked salmon on one out of the two days. There’s a do it yourself egg station for boiling eggs which I thought was quite cute, but you must keep an eye on your egg so no one nabs……
