Was a nice hotel just outside of Basel. They offer a transit ticket for the day complimentary which will get you into the city of Basel and around so that is quite helpful. Parking is underground at the rear of the hotel, at an additional charge, in the same garage that is used by the COOP next door and is very convenient. They do not have air conditioning, so you will have to do with keeping the metal shades closed to keep the sun off the windows, however no air circulation so can get quite stuffy on hot days. It is a bit of an older hotel, and while very clean and well kept, some of the modern conveniences are not there. No air conditioning and there are not too many outlets to charge devices. There are also no USB A or C ports in the room so you will have to use an outlet and adaptor. Location was good if you don't want to stay directly in Basel and tram ride only took about 15 minutes to get into the heart of the town.
