“This was a beautiful experience for my fiance and I! The listing is entirely accurate. The location is beautiful; the people of Stoystown are very nice. There's a Walmart 15 min away, too, as well as a Bar/Restaurant up the street. There is no wifi or service/reception at all in the cabin. “There might be several reasons to stay at the Rack Shack. Ours was the location, not far from Fallingwater which we visited the following morning. Also, the modest price for an entire cabin was appreciated. Visiting from northern Maine we were right at home with the antlers and taxidermy. And if you look past the furry decor you'll see that the building is far from a shack....it's finished nicely, all buttoned up, clean and comfy. “Really enjoyed the stay at Kenswood. Just the right size for us, our son, and our dog. Lots of snowfall while we were there but the property management team did an excellent job clearing it from the driveway, deck, and sidewalks every day (they also added salt to melt ice). Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms had plenty of towels and washcloths. Great water pressure and hot water didn't take long to come through. “First, the company was very good with communication. We appreciate that very much. However, that is about the best part of the trip.When we arrived, there was a massive fan blowing in the kitchen and the kitchen floor was soaked. The dishwasher was broken and leaked everywhere, therefore we had no dishwasher the entire trip. The fireplace was not working either, therefore we had no fireplace for our entire trip.
