“Amables, incluso nos regalaron un par de bebidas porque llegamos sedientos del viaje en auto. Cumple las expectativas en limpieza y comfort. Es un hotel modesto, pero suficiente para pasar un par de noches sin problemas. El aire acondicionado entraba en algún modo de ahorro de energía que impedía enfriar la habitación lo que me gustaría pero aún así fue suficiente, estuvimos cómodos.”

“My adult daughter and I were on our way back home from visiting her siblings and their spouses in Kansas. Stopped here overnight so we could hike around Starved Rock State Park before heading home. Checked all the boxes and when I’m back in the area I’ll bring my pups with me too! Beautiful quiet country location. ”

“Difficulty in accessing the site with house rules, che in, and checkout instructions. Kitchen was adequately stocked, nice decor and clean. Accurate description of by the tracks- train does blow the whistle late night and early morning but oddly got used to it. Location was close to wedding venue, so that was helpful”

“The home is beautiful, with expert attention to detail. The bed linens seemed chosen specifically for each room. The views were especially delightful, day and night. We were lucky to have a 3/4 moon over the Fox River, a fire in the fire pit, and morning coffee on the deck. I would recommend this home for any event. Spacious, comfortable, and near fun things to do, such as kayaking on the Fox River.”
