"The house is beautiful and well situated for amazing hikes right from the door, no need to drive anywhere, which is amazing. Would be really helpful if the house had: - a coffee maker, this is really a MUST - only pans that work with an induction stove top....get rid of the pans that don't work on the stove top. There were plenty of pans, but not knowing how induction works, it took us a while to figure out that it wouldn't work with some pans...why were those pans there? - hanger/ hooks for...

Amazing wood heated hot tub, fireplace, comfy beds and eco friendly power... ( but internet if needed). This property is a MUST on any bucket list....you will not be disappointed. "Lovely mountain lodge over 1000m up with amazing views, open space for kids and cows next door. Note the (Expedia) location is where you pickup the directions/ pay tourist tax etc. Look at google maps for exact location. A few hairpins to get up there! Would be useful to have a washing machine (and toaster!) for families. Would recommend. "

"Only 3 months old, everything was new, modern and clean. But the service and meals were exceptional. Full breakfast with creative list of eggs Benedict style options including a local one. The 3 course dinners also included local fare and were excellent. Also full bar with local made schnapps and extensive list of fantastic Slovenian wines. The service was also very efficient, relaxed and friendly so that we could engage the staff in conversation. The setting is a beautiful green farm village next to the local church and a bell tower that pealed throughout the day )but not all night). Hotel is in Sgornje Gorje, a short hike downhill to Lake Bled but far from the crowds around the lake. We were able to hike down to and around Lake Bled and up to the castle and back up to hotel. The area is green, hilly, surrounded by the alps and the sounds of active farms. Very picturesque. "
