"Dar El Medina is a beautiful, historic hotel tucked right in the heart of Tunis’s Old Medina — truly a special place to stay. The rooms are spacious and full of traditional charm, and the rooftop terrace overlooking the medina is just stunning. Breakfast deserves its own shoutout — it’s not a buffet but a sit-down meal that’s so delicious and generous I didn’t need to eat again for the rest of the day! The Wi-Fi works perfectly too, which isn’t always a given in historic buildings. But what truly sets Dar El Medina apart is the staff. Every single person I encountered was warm, friendly, and went above and beyond to help. When I lost my passport, they were incredible — helping me search, contact the right people, and prepare everything for an emergency replacement. The breakfast waiters always greeted me with big smiles and were so attentive. If you’re coming to Tunis, don’t think twice — Dar El Medina is the place to stay."

We really enjoyed the breakfast on the terrace. It was a great location, close to the Medina and not too far from the airport. The staff kindly arranged for taxi transportation. "Dar Dorra was a fantastic experience. Room was perfect - nice size and most facilities you would expect in larger hotel chains. Breakfast buffet was great but was same everyday but there was enough variety to not get bored. Location was perfect for the bazaar and for sightseeing. Complimentary fruit and chocolate every night which was very nice. The property is well maintained and very beautiful. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. If you want to stay in the Medina this is the go to place you won't be disappointed."
