“We did not know what to expect from this hotel but were very surprised by the cool vibe of the hotel. We knew we had arrived due to the big plane in the front of the property, with a Q on the tail. The front desk greeted us, looked up our reservation and offered to show us some other rooms. Some of the rooms have unusual jacuzzi/hot tubs and the one we reserved had an old copper cheese boiler about 4 feet deep. Very cool, but we are both handicapped and there was no way we could get in and out……

“The parking lot was newly surfaced. The air conditioner was easy to operate. The floor of our room was not swept. The sheets in one of the beds had little stains on them which indicated bed bugs. There were large plastic tubes mounted on the outside wall between every two room entrances with a hole cut into the top that were filthy for cigarette butts.”

“Room was clean and comfortable but a bit Spartan. Shower, AC, refrigerator, microwave worked fine. Lighting was depressingly dim and inadequate. “This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had. The property was difficult to find due to a lack of adequate signage, there was a person smoking right outside the front door and yelling at her phone. This created an unprofessional and unwelcoming first impression. A loud, continuously barking dog only added to the negative atmosphere. Although the innkeeper was polite, ongoing problems with the reservation system reflected poorly on the property’s management and organization.……
